THE UK’S first SCREWMONGER
Located in the heart of the East Midlands, we are a family owned business, specialising in new, old and antique wood screws, nuts, bolts, washers & architectural ironmongery, allowing customers to choose from a range of traditional, modern & commercial products.
We have a serious obsession for wood screws; new, vintage, antique, brass, mild steel and anything in between, which means we are very passionate & knowledgeable about the screws we sell. Our business is all about giving our customers choice! If you require a traditional, old or vintage grade slotted wood screw, we either have it in stock or if not we can source it for you.
We firmly believe in good old fashioned customer service, where you can pick up the phone and talk to someone that is helpful, friendly and attentive, which are attributes historically found in traditional ironmongers & hardware merchants throughout the world.
We also specialise in old, antique and vintage grade screws, displaying signs of age and patina, to match existing character and charm, most often associated with restoration, heritage and conservation projects. Our wide screw range, with products available in a various metals, finishes, gauges, lengths, & head types, coupled with our resourcefulness to source, both standard and non-standard sizes, makes us the preferred supplier too many.
Screwsline, originally founded by Mr & Mrs Ryder of 'Ryders of Bury' back in 2001, was acquired by new owners in Spring 2013 and relocated from Bolton down into Nottinghamshire.
Screwsline is now owned and run by Screwmonger Ltd. which is a privately owned family business (husband & wife team) located in North Nottinghamshire, situated in the heart of the East Midlands and within easy reach of Newark, Nottingham, Sheffield, Lincoln, Birmingham, Manchester & London.
Screwsline re-opened in February 2015, in conjunction with the launch of our new website, which we are very proud of and with the support of old and new customers, we continue to go from strength to strength.
